EIZA releases her first single
“Mi Destino So Yo” from upcoming new album “Contracorriente”
due for release November 3rd!
Los Angeles, CA (September 9, 2009) - EIZA returns in 2009! After a successful debut as Lola, the lead role in the popular telenovela Lola Erase Una Vez and hit album based on the telenovela soundtracks. Eiza has transformed herself into an artist with a clear and strong new music proposal.
In her short but fruitful career, Eiza was recognized by Premios Lo Nuestro as Best Female Pop New Artist; she also co-hosted “Premios Juventud” this past July in Miami and had a guest appearance on the celebrated Mexican TV series “Mujeres Asesinas” produced by Pedro Torres.
MI DESTINO SOY YO is the first single from her new album CONTRACORRIENTE. The song can already be heard in all Mexican and U.S. airwaves and is available for download on iTunes and Mixupdigital.com.
MI DESTINO SOY YO, was produced by Rafael Esparza-Ruiz and Luigie González, both of whom wrote the song along with Salvador Rizo. CONTRACORRIENTE is scheduled for release on November 3rd. Eiza just recorded the video to MI DESTINO SOY YO in Monterrey, Mexico and will soon be kicking off her promotional tour. Eiza is one of the most promising new talents and rising stars in Spanish pop music.
