Miami, FL – September 10, 2009 – XTREME, urban bachata’s most successful duo, presents their new single “Baby, Baby”. The new track, which fuses Danny D and Steve Style’s urban flavor with traditional bachata rhythms, will be included in their upcoming release “Chapter Dos: On The Verge”, the deluxe version of their hit album, available this Fall.
With an addictive hook and Xtreme’s trademark mixture of English and Spanish lyrics, the “Baby, Baby” promises to quickly become one of Xtreme’s biggest hits yet. The single, a romantic plead for forgiveness and devotion will impact radio stations throughout the US and Puerto Rico early this month and is expected to become a mainstay in the Latin, urban and tropical charts. Besides “Baby, Baby”, “Chapter Dos: On The Verge” features 4 other new studio songs inspired by the duo’s popular Mun2 reality series “Xtreme: On The Verge”. The series became one of the network’s most successful new programs of 2009 and ventured into the day-to-day lives of the group as they navigated the trials and tribulations of the music business. These new additions include the tracks “Vuelve”, “Friday Night”, “Tu Amigo Con Beneficios” and the holiday themed “Devuelveme La Navidad”
Other tracks include the hit singles “Through That Window (Enamorado Estoy)” and “Lloro Y Lloro” which were both primary subjects throughout season 1 of the “On The Verge” series. As a bonus, Xtreme’s #1 chart-topping hit “Shorty, Shorty” will be included in the album’s tracklisting as well.
